Sweet fried pancakes.

   SWEET FRIED         PANCAKE

Pancakes are a popular breakfast food made from a batter of flour, eggs, milk, and baking powder. They are cooked on a griddle or frying pan until golden brown on both sides. Pancakes can be enjoyed plain or topped with a variety of ingredients like syrup, fruit, whipped cream, or nuts. There are many variations worldwide, such as crepes, flapjacks, and Japanese soufflé pancakes. They are versatile and can be sweet or savory, making them a favorite for many!

Here’s a simple recipe for sweet fried pancakes:

Ingredients:

- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 2 tablespoons sugar

- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 1 cup buttermilk (or milk)

- 1 large egg

- 2 tablespoons melted butter (plus more for frying)

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:

1. Mix Dry Ingredients:

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

2. Combine Wet Ingredients:

In another bowl, mix the buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

3. Combine Mixtures:

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Avoid over mixing; a few lumps are okay.

4. Heat the Pan:

In a skillet or frying pan, heat a little butter over medium heat.

5. Cook the Pancakes:

Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Fry until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set (about 2-3 minutes). Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

6. Serve:

Serve warm with your favorite toppings like syrup, fruit, or whipped cream.

"Enjoy your sweet fried pancakes!"
